It happens a few times a week. I can't predict when it might happen, I just wake up and can't get back to sleep. My pdoc says it's from my depression. I'm definitely not manic. Writing brings me short term relief from the depression - it's much better when I'm really focused on writing. When I'm not writing, the depression comes back full force. __________________ * Dx: Unspecified Bipolar and Related Disorder * Rx: Remeron, Prozac, Klonopin My avatar picture is a photo of the Whirlpool Galaxy I took in April 2023. Today is a rest day from the gym. I have a training session tomorrow and I'm always tired after a session with the trainer.
I got up early again - 530 this time, which is not too bad. I'm surprised I got up so early because I was tired from having gotten up really early the day before, went to the gym yesterday, and stayed up late last night! I started reading a book. It's interesting because it's written in realism style. That means the author writes about what they're thinking of without making anything up or embellishing, so there's lots of self reflection. I like reading this style because my own emotions are pretty blunted because of my depression and I reconnect with my own feelings by reading about someone else's. I'm also reading passages from a book about Van Gogh - is made up of short passages that you're supposed to read over the course of a week or 2. __________________ * Dx: Unspecified Bipolar and Related Disorder * Rx: Remeron, Prozac, Klonopin My avatar picture is a photo of the Whirlpool Galaxy I took in April 2023. Thank you for reminding me about taking my vitamins. Not one D vitamin has entered my mouth since before Christmas. I will start right away! At Thursday my arms will be examined with an instrument I cannot remember the name on. That will tell if there are problems with my joints, if there is an inflammation or other. I have had three massages for my back and arms (two for the arms) and the result became more pain. Last time he only gave me massage at my back, shoulders and neck, and now I have pain all over my body. I will need Parsetomol for the coming night. I felt better for some hours, but now the pain is creeping back again, almost similar to a flu. I will wait until the evening with the pain kil*ers. Thank you for taking the time explain about the D vitamins! __________________ Never forget to structure your days! Be responsible: Paddle your own canoe in all circumstances! |

I wrote a lot when I was younger, but that stressed me so much out and was not good for me. Instead I made both days and nights into parts with specific goals to meet. The goal for the night was this: "My goal is not to sleep, only to relax and stay in bed between time X and time Y. It didn't go many nights before I slept through the whole night. Do what is right for you! (You know best). __________________ Never forget to structure your days! Be responsible: Paddle your own canoe in all circumstances! |

Somebody needs to start a new thread #74, I tried but I got a white page. We’re over 1000 posts.
