Today was my second time meeting and my first appointment with my new pdoc. I knew I'd been feeling good and she commented how great I look. My new med for the severe akathisia/wiggling/rocking back and forth went from an 8 to a 1 she said! My hands were steady when I held them out in front of me and I passed the stick-your-tongue-out test as well as the test where you touch each finger to your thumb. She said she wants to see me in 2 months.

I am getting much better sleep now that I'm not wiggling and am on Klonopin. Plus my friend bought me a memory foam mattress topper, new sheets and a queen sized down pillow along with the same but in king size. He also got me a body pillow. The over all effect is just blissful sleep! I don't need naps anymore. I can set my worries aside or choose to deal with them. I feel like me! I've been going through my DVD collection. A couple days ago I went through most of my music concerts and now I'm into my Lewis Black collection.

I know I've been MIA lately but I'll try to jump back in as best I can.

This is great news, Moose! I certainly know, first hand, how horrible and even disabling (psychologically) akathisia can be.

Your bed sounds so comfy!
