@*Beth* I hope you don't leave the forum, I'm sure there are ways to ignore or deal with the others.

Hi Mountainbard, I agree with you that people who have negative behavior toward others (at any age) should be ashamed of themselves. (My personal experience in life is that people are as they always have been when they become older as long as they are not in a process of getting dementia or have other physical diseases that sometimes lower their capacity to think clearly).

I believe that sometimes we can misread people and that what we think is bad behavior, may not be meant that way by the sender (the person who said it). They can just have been clumsy with words, psychotic or other.

But of course trolls can find their way to these forums. I have to admit that I haven't seen any trolls here in the time I have used the forum, but if they are "trolling" in private e-posts that isn't something we as a group can see.

My suggestion is:
If a person receives an answer that she or he thinks is meant bad, she or he can report that to a moderator. The moderator can then see if the forum rules are broken. If there is anything wrong in the reported post, the moderator will be able to send a friendly reminder or a warning (I have been a moderator in another forum).

If everybody can take responsibility to do that when they think somebody meant to hurt them with bad language or whatever, all the others don't have to be involved in the discussion.

It is disturbing to read about that somebody is "trolling" (trolling is my word). I think that perhaps it disturbs almost all the members of the group when suddenly a post pups up accusing somebody of "trolling" or using "bad language" (as MI sufferers we often struggle with consentration - we do not always find the right words we want to use). I say this because somebody can think the general complaint about "bad language" is meant toward them when they read about it. That means that more then one person will not feel comfortable being part of the forum. Such disturbances is not necessary to the flock as a whole.

Let us try to be generous and kind to each other, and not to look for "an inner evil" or bad in languageskills in somebody else as soon as we see a clumsy sentence come from some who herself/himself is a sufferer (who might be in a situation where it is difficult to find the right words).

By the way:

Congratulation to you with all these good years in between!

Good wishes to you and everybody else!

I hope this stops now! (Others have commented before you took it up).

Glad that you are doing well!

I was able to get a CT scan fairly quickly after my appointment. It was one of those ones with contrast. I've had one once and thats how they found the nodules. There was an issue with the scan because the contrast was taking a long time to filter down to my kidneys to my bladder. So we had to wait a couple minutes and then take another picture. Then it still hadn't filtered. So we waited another couple minutes and she got the picture. He said someone would call with the results either tonight or tommorow morning. I'm concerned with the issues with the scan and how fast they want to give me the results. Normally they say 3-4 days. I think tonight is an extra valium night. My doctor did prescribe some pain med meant to filter the kidneys but it isnt in yet.

He thinks my topamax may have given me a kidney stone or something.

Hope your Valium helped a bit and that you will have your answer soon!

I just got back from the pharmacy. I ran out of one of my meds 5 days ago and was starting to get a little depressed and having negative thoughts. Anyway, I picked up the med I ran out of and took it along with my other meds so hopefully that builds back up in my system soon.

Sorry my last post froze and I couldn't edit it

What I meant to add was that I have an appointment with my therapist tomorrow and am looking forward to telling her about the volunteering. I also just in general feel good about helping out taking care of the cats there at the adoption place, it just made me feel really fufilled and like I have a purpose

Goes without saying, but that tooth will have to go. The issue? Their "extractor" won't be in for nearly a month. I don't think I'll be able to stand a month of this. They did give me the number of a clinic that could potentially get me in earlier.

In the meanwhile, antibiotics for the infection and any NSAID under the sun for pain!
I hope you get some relief soon. I had something similar happen last month. Broke a tooth, then it got abscessed and infected. Thankfully they were able to pull it the same day of my walk in appointment

Anyway I've gone through a lot of dental crap the past several years so I definitely empathize with you, I really hope you're able to get in and see someone soon

I went to aqua fitness today, it’s getting so much easier now that it is light out and for us finally getting warmer. The feels like temperature was still in the 30’s F but that’s an improvement. I wore my lighter coat today! I feel my mood lifting with the snow finally starting to melt, and the brighter days.
