I have been doing pretty well at work until this happened this morning...

I went in, and already felt a little bit "off", but not entirely. As the morning progressed, I started to feel strange: light headed, brain fog, light sensitivity, difficulties focusing on conversation. I will start to say something and lose train of thought half way through.... that was a sign I just could not get through the day with my kind of job since I work heavily with the public. I don't know if this is a sign that this can be an episode? It was so embarrassing, because the girl at the front desk where I worked said I did not look like I was feeling well, and I don't want them to question my mental health or competency when it comes to the job. I just said I have a migraine, and then I went home.

I have been keeping up the ability to function at this job for a while, despite some problems managing anxiety there. I hope tomorrow is different

Has anyone experienced anything like this in the beginning of an episode? I hope it is just an off day and not a sign of anything else. I haven't felt like this in a while.

I don't have episodes (not that I know of...) but there is one person at work who always seems to know when I am not having a good day. I think she's very observant but she is also looking out for me.

Everyone has bad days. We get sick sometimes. Please don't be embarrassed. When I am tired, and cannot concentrate, I actually leave my area and go for a walk.

Are you ok? Are you doing better now? Are you sure it's a potential start to an "episode" and not something else? Been eating well lately? Been getting enough rest? Long COVID?

Hope you're feeling better now.

It makes me think of a neurological episode, not a psychiatric one. I would seek the advice of a neurologist.

Thank you. I noticed that the day before I forgot to take my Lamictal... I don't know if that was enough to cause that. I am feeling better now.

More observations would be necessary to see whether it was a cause or not. Glad that you are feeling better.

I have its so hard to control it aswell. When it hits it hits hard, sometimes a episode, sometimes not. Sometimes it can just be a quick allusion and die off. its hard to explain
