I want to wish every one happy holidays,
and merry christmas to all who celebrate.


I guess it has been raining all over the country.
We had rain straight thru the better part of 2 days.
none today.
Our grass is definitely happy with the rain, ours was looking dead. But it has perked up some.

Katherine came to dinner with us at Katzu our favorite noodle house. They also have excellent sushi.
I almost always get the poke bowl with salmon and tuna and white fish over rice and with seaweed salad and
half an avocado with fake crab salad it is very filling. Jeff and katherine split some hot sake. Not my favorite beverage.
I had water we have plenty to drink in the house.

I have been drinking vizzy mimosa hard seltzer
only 100 calories and not as acidic as trulys are.

WE went to a christmas party last night.it was fun. William had whipped up some interesting winter soup,he called it chili.
It was not like any chilli I have had before.
Molly made spicy black beans I should have thought of combining them but did not until I was done eating.
William made some delicious corn bread and I had a piece of sugar pie. I am missing part of the name of the pie.
oh well it was good.
After eating. We played the white elephant swap with presents. There were 18 people playing.
Jeff gave away his squire feeder that looked like a red picnic table. and I gave away a hand warmer. And I got a
bottle of wine with an adorable knitted dress that keeps the wine at room temperature.
I am giving it to my sister jill for a christmas, she likes red wine.
I had better get ready for bed, jeff is already in there.

Is it Sugar Cream Pie ? Sugar Cream Pie Recipe: How to Make It

Pecan pie is almost all sugar except the crust and pecans. I cannot do all that sugar anymore. My body is too used to unsweetened things to go back.

Hi Bizi

Glad to see your post. I have been sick with a cold since last Wednesday.
But finally feeling better. So just taking medicine to keep feeling better.

I finally get my ears cleaned out on Friday, I'm so glad I also got word
my Medicare B is back.
Dale got bit by a dog last week, but wouldn't go to the doctor. But
had an appointment yesterday, and got antibiotics and some shots.
So he is hopefully feeling better. I'm at Derrick's since we did his
update on Food stamps this morning. And Dale hasn't let me know
how he is feeling.

Derrick is doing great on his diet finally one that is working for him.

I've gained weight too. Boohoo. I gained twenty pounds after hernia repair surgery and haven't been able to lose it, despite my best efforts. I guess I'll just have to keep on trying. I was actually thinking about making an appointment with my GP about it, but figure she'd just tell me to diet and exercise more, so what's the point? She didn't say anything about it at my physical in August and all my bloodwork came back normal.

Sorry, I got distracted. He is on the low carb and low fat diet. He is doing
really good on it. He is also doing good on working. He has also done some
volunteering at the Food finders which is he really found he enjoys.

He gave his gifts to his staff and his team. WE are having an untraditional
meal on Christmas. Derrick is making Pork Chops, and we are having Mashed potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Corn Casserole, and pecan pie, Rolls. And some other things.

Its been a nice few weeks, and its been really nice. Its gotten Cold this week, and snowed a little bit.
