I had it done when my depression was SUPER bad. It took my low mood from a 1/10 to 4/10.

I know my pdoc has a high opinion of it. I would have done it years ago but it's not offered anywhere near here and I'd have to drive 2 hours each way in city traffic and that's just not reasonable when severely depressed. But if it is ever closer it would be an option for me. I seem to remember my pdoc even contacting the head of TMS for a big hospital looking for alternative options or places that did it that we didn't know of.

For some reason I'm super scared of it but I can't keep this up. What's the time commitment? He makes it sound like I go listen to music, just relax while doing this.

Everyone needs a different amount of sessions according to their own unique circumstances. I just watched the tv and had earplugs in my ears because it's loud. Totally pain free.
