Hi everyone.

Last Wednesday we found out that Derrick lost his great Neurologist, with no notice. YES, that is what I said. But he is so good. And one of his providers and a great friend has contact with him. So she could talk to him, and set up with him that he would keep taking care of medicine till the new neurologist could start seeing him. Which I realize with some work his primary probably would have. But I want to have the neuro doing it. We found a new one on Thursday luckily with some work, were all his other doctors are. So that makes it great.

Its someone that some of my friends kids see. So that helps too. I haven't talked to Dan and Kortni lately but every thing is going good, because no news is good news. But I will be soon.

Devin and Meluvja have been doing great too. They usually talk to Dale, because I can't seem to reach Devin but if he needs something he calls
Dale which is great. So its nice they are having a great relationship finally.

Now for the big news, I went to my primary, and also had the blood draws
I needed for my cancer doctor. All the blood work for both were great. My A1C is 6.4. Which is great. The only thing that is a little low is the B-12 which I have
now vitamins to take. I also lost my Pain medicine doctor, which I at this time am not replacing. I don't think I will need to. If I do at a new time I will look again. I have been doing great in that way. So I'm just going to wait.

I finally bit the bullet, after years of needing to, I'm going to the dentist on Monday next week so they can refer me to an oral surgeon. I need all my teeth pulled. So I can probably get dentures, I don't think they can put implants in I think my gums and teeth are too bad.

I will keep you posted.

No none of them can be. But I've known that for years. I've just not
wanted to go to the dentist. But it was time.

I'm being sent to a specialist called Gosh I've forgotten what his
exact dentistry name is. He is more than just a oral surgeon.

HE does a lot of restorative work, but I have what is called extra bone,
on both the top and the bottom areas, the bottom is under the tongue, its
something called tori's or close to that. And that area is pretty big.. And it
can cause breathing issues. And I am not positive but I believe it is what
is causing my breathing issues. So I am going to hopefully have a double
benefit to it being gone.

Donna if you have extra bone there perhaps you could do implants the just need solid bones for the foundation.
good luck going to the dentist/doctor. sounds painful.
when are you going?

That is also what the dentist said. But we will see what the specialist
says. Because I honestly don't know. Its because my gums have always
been bad because of medicines I had to take in school till my teens.

I go to the specialist on May 29th and will get more information as
to the next process. And will get more answers. So hopefully then will
get more answers.

Hi everyone,

I went to the dentist yesterday. I really like him. I also believe for the first time
after my mom died she was looking over me. Don't get me wrong I have known she was there before. But not like this, I have always been anxious in a dentist
office even with just a consult. I knew two weeks ago, I wouldn't because I was going to only get a referral so I wouldn't feel much anxiety. But I felt like I would feel a lot yesterday. But no, I didn't feel any. I did feel just a tiny upset Ness when I found out I'd be awake when they did the procedure, even when they promised I wouldn't remember anything. I have had procedures this way before so I hope they honestly give me more than they have before, if they don't I'll know it all.

Anyway, I also hope they get it all done. Even though my husband is trying to say I want to do half one day and half another day. I personally don't agree. I want it all one day. I realize it will take a while to heal, he says if its two different days it will be a month later. So that means at least 2 months before I can get dentures. And it wont be implants till later. Because my gums and bones will have to heal for a long time.

Its on June 27th. Which if I just had them pulled it would be about 6 months anywhere else, that is how backed up every place is.

wonder if they are going to give you gas.
don't know what king of gas they would give
you but it is not as hard on you.
And you will know that it works, would ask what
they are going to give to you.

I know that when I had my wisdom teeth out they gave me something in an IV and told me I was awake but wouldn’t remember what happened. I remember that the stripy wall paper was zig zagging around but them I don’t remember getting to the recovery room. But I only had 3 teeth removed.

I'm being given a sedation in pill from they wont put me out. Something about they can't. THey say I wont remember anything. I've had this kind done before
it never worked to well sure hope it works better than before we will see.

I'm having a rough start I have an infection, so I am on a antibiotic and he
gave me some vitamins to take. I started it all last Friday. By Sunday I had
diarrhea bad, Called Monday learned that not only does the antibiotic cause
it. But the vitamins do too. And honestly I've never had it caused by this
antibiotic, so anyway. I'm off the vitamins till after the antibiotic is done.
And told to take less when I go back on. Which is totally fine with me.
It was causing lots of gas and antacid too. SO much I was taking lots
of Atacids.

hi donna, thanks for the update.
sorry that you have an infection and have to take antibiotics...
have you ever heard of using hydrogen peroxide half strength and mixing it with mouth wash without alcohol. Just swish it around in your mouth don't swallow. swish it for at least 30 seconds. look at a container of peroxide. it says for dental debridement.
Ask your dentist about it. Instead of mouth wash I use:
Thera breath dentist formulated, healthy gums oral rinse I get it off amazon.
you can use half water and half peroxide.
