Hi everyone,

Ive been recovering from the top half of my mouth surgery. That I had
on June 27th. It was not bad, I had little pain, but the stitches coming
out a week later were very painful. Even though the dentist had made
sure to make sure I was given lots of pain medicine in the gums and stuff.

He said, he was surprised the the gums were still that red and angry. And
he was going to wait a month to do the other half of the surgery.
We tried to schedule it on July 27th but they only had late after noon
appt. which I am not allowed to eat after midnight. And with diabetis
that isn't smart so I asked for the next week. Since it was a THursday.

So its on August 1st now. So its a month wait. Hoping everyone is
doing good.

Bizi,

He put me on Antibiotics, and put me on his own rinse. I can't remember its name but I've been using it 3 times a day. Now at about 2 weeks till my next surgery I'm finally feeling lots
better and hoping that the healing will definitely be doing lots better by August 1st. I've still got two sore places but keep a close eye on them.

And I am drinking protein drinking protein drinks and taking multivitamins. Along with my other medicines. I hope everyone is doing well and I'll be back.
After if not before the next surgery.

PS> On another subject Derrick is doing great. Dan is doing pretty good, or seems to be. So are Harmony my 7 year old granddaughter and her mom Kortni.
And Devin, Meluvja and her boys. And my grandson Will who is visiting his mom right now too. But the real news is he was helping my husband for two weeks
before he went to his moms. And will be helping when he gets back. I think its great and will help him a lot.

Yesterday, I had the rest of my teeth removed. But thanks to my blood pressure rising. I didn't get my extra bone removed. I had trouble sleeping this week and didn't sleep at all the night before. I was originally being sent to a oral surgeon in six weeks. But after some talking with me, because I don't do well with new doctor's and the oral surgeon's I have seen I've done bad.

He has decided that he would try again, and he would try sleeping meds and maybe the sedation med the night before that I take during the night before.
Not sure on that one. And do the surgery later in the day.
For some reason when I have to take my high blood pressure meds early in the morning it rises really high. We haven't figured out why. But if I can take it later in the morning I'm fine.

So that is what we are going to try. And hopefully it will work.

Along with like this time my steroids for a couple days after and antibiotics for 10 days. And of course the sedation on day of.

Thanks for listening.

Ok, I got my stitches out on Wednesday and he told me it would take 8 weeks before my gums I think it was that would heal enough for him to do the surgery so that he could get the bone to stick. Hopefully that makes sense. It made kind of sense to me. At least enough attention so that I let them make an appointment on October 3rd I think it is. Which is 8 weeks out. So I'm working
as much I can to keep my blood pressure down. I honestly can't figure out
how its been rising. Its been down for a good 6 months to a year. And it
was fine the first time I had surgery. I really was hoping it was because I had
the surgery at 8 am. So now I'm set the surgery at 11am. And will make sure
the medicines are at a good time. I've started taking my blood pressure
it has been a little high at times. But it seems with my new blood pressure
machine I've got to small of a blood pressure cuff just a little bit. I ordered a bigger one. But at this point its not in. And I can't figure out what to do.

I'm hoping that is the problem.

Hey donna,
Hope your healing goes smoothly for you.
Sorry to hear that you can't sleep.
I hope they gave you some pain meds,
perhaps the sedation meds they gave you were affecting your blood pressure. IDK.
8 weeks should fly by.Are still supposed to use his mouth rinse?
Can you take advil, can't remember if you are on a blood thinner?
love you

Bizi
just got back from our weekend away, too pensecola beach florida.
I fell and badly twisted my ankle. A nice lady saw me fall and ran over
to help jeff get me up. I think I sprained it or strained it.
It is alot better I am learning how to do things.
Getting in and out of a car is tricky. my scrapped
knee is painful I bought some extra large bandaides
for large wounds. It is right on my knee and is difficult
to keep a bandage on. so I put some reinforcement
water proof tape and it seems to be holding.
I ice my right ankle with ice water in a blue bag with a
removeable lid so it doesn't leak.
woah is me.

I sure hope the sedation didn't cause the blood pressure to rise.

Its been okay right now. But its been up and down. So we will see.

I've been keeping a good eye on it.

My granddaughter is back in 1st grade which is were we wanted her. And she
is in resource room, instead of life skills this year. Which is so good.
THey can't seem to keep a life skills teacher. Hopefully they will this year.

Everyone have a great day and month.
