Bedsides the ones for side effects. That means no antipsychotics or mood stabilizer. I’m going to try therapy. There are no meds I haven’t or won’t react to is why. Plus I still have TD.

Oo I hope that works. Back in 2000 I went off everything because I was on opiates for physical issues and didn’t want to mix the two. Surprisingly things evened out and I was relatively stable. Then after my back surgery in 2013 or so I slipped into a severe depression, but it wasn’t until that turned into a mixed episode I sought help. I’m now on only one AP. Less meds than I’ve ever been on since the 80’s and doing well. I hope you have the same luck.

I hope the TD goes away now. Are you worried about going off those meds? What meds are you still on?

I hope therapy helps you.

It was on vacation but I think the meds are helping. Far from perfect but it’s something.

The new t doc wants me to have Medicare. Sounds like a lot of work. Mentally I’m just fine. Didn’t sleep last night.

Only slept from 4:30 to 7 last night. Was up all night online. Already been through finding a decent sleep med for me and of course they failed from side effects! And of course it’s Saturday so Pdoc isn’t around and neither is my case manager. I hate to just try to nap later because I’ll be all turned upside down any worse than I am right now. There is the after hours line but they can only report to your Pdoc or tell you if you need to go to the ER or not.

I feel antsy. Nobody is around to talk or visit with. I’ve been listening to the same cd over and over again. Well there’s my cat but she wants petted and fed all the time. I think I’ll explode with this energy! I’m trying to fold and put away my clean laundry- trying is the operative word!

Did you and your doc have a plan for what to do if you start getting manic? Might be good to implement it, or come up with one quickly

No we don’t have one of those especially manic without meds! I can always call the crisis team if things get really bad.

@Moose72

Sorry your sleep has been shyt and you're manic feeling and antsy. Try a rest period. Put on your headphones or put in your ear buds and just lay in bed, in as dark and cool as you can make it, and listen to music. Helps me to take a rest period when I'm feeling that way.

I hope you feel better soon. 🫂 ❤️

Thanks. I’m having the command hallucinations again. Think the lack of meds is starting to catch up with me., I don’t have anything that headphones can plug into but I do have I heart radio on my iPad. I have that next to my bed.

It sucks you have such bad reactions to seemingly all antipsychotics. Are the command hallucinations very bad? I hope they're not. You can try listening to your radio without headphones, yes. Just try taking a rest period, hun.

Yes all antipsychotics. I’ve tried the vast majority of them. The command hallucinations are always the same but they still are annoying. Got my iPad playing 101.5 The River.
