So, every once and awhile, something really weird happens to me. My perception of size becomes distorted. (It has nothing to do with any sort of drug)
Either I feel very small and the world feels very large, or I feel very large and the world feels very small. It's actually a visual change as well. For example, somthing within arms reach, may appear to be two yards out of reach, and the other side of a room may appear to be an extra 20-30 feet away. If I close my eyes a few times, the illusion disappears. It rarely happens, but it has happened to me off and on since I was a kid. I suppose it should be a little disturbing, but it's actually quite cool. I know it's an illusion when it happens too. Is this an actual hallucination, or what is it? I guess I never really thought it was abnormal. |

Sometimes, if I stare at the tiles on the bathroom floor, the design in them appears to move- and so do they. That's an illusion- a pretty cool one. I am not sure about your room perception. If you feel small and the room feels large and vise versa, could it be a bit of disassociation going on?
