Had my first therapy appointment! She was very calm and soft spoken but not uncomfortably so. We covered so much!! I cried when she asked me what a good memory of my dad was. I said it was when he called me "Mooser". Usually he'd call me my nickname Moose my whole life because I was premature and only 3 lbs 4 oz Lots of comfy furniture too!

I told her I'd like to work on my anxiety. She said my examples sounded like severe anxiety.

That is great news! I haven't tried therapy again for a good 10 yr. or longer. I never clicked with a therapist, it all felt so artificial I gave up. I'm glad you had a good first session and make good progress in your therapy.
