@HALLIEBETH87 sorry you are having either symptoms or side affects from Risperidal. Since there are so many side affects to iit, you may want to just tell the pdoc and let them assess whether it is not enough Risperidal or maybe if that might not be the right med.

While you are on Risperidal you maybe want to track any side affects and see if they are on this list.:
Risperdal Side Effects: Common, Severe, Long Term
If they are I would tell the pdoc so they can assess if that is a serious or not serious problem.

Yes whatever the pdoc thinks. I would not suggest anything else, just advising caution because of many side affects so good to keep pdoc informed. Sounds like you are doing that, so that is great.

I'm sorry you had to withdraw from class. I had to do the same thing when in a bad depressive episode.

I hope your pdoc is able to help you find the right med dose soon so you can get some relief.

I understand where you're coming from-I felt similar. You're definitely not a failure for taking care of your needs though. You've got a lot going on right now and you deserve the time/space you need to take care of those things. And, it takes a lot of strength and courage to do what is needed to take care of yourself.
