Careful with going up. I don't know about you, but my mania often leads to psychosis and hospitalization, and you are right the hospital is so expensive even with insurance.

Can you call your pdoc and see about getting a med adjustment that might help you avoid the ER?

Hallie you are already hypo. you need help from your pdoc. can you make her understand that you have not slept for a few days. spending more money is also a red flag.Call them to see if they can increase your AP.

blue book I love your new photo!

@bizi
Thank you That is a recent image, taken last week or maybe the week before.
My last image was from last year. The image distorted a bit on the upload but not too badly.

My pdoc offfice said the onyl ting they could do is sugggest ER. then they called my husband and told him eveyething and i need er. so he showed up at my work insisting i go. i went and they had two nurses talk to me and discharged me. then they said follow up with my pdoc in 3 days. the whole reason i called is becaue when i get manic i go psychotic within 3 days. a day wasted

@HALLIEBETH87
So sorry about that. Health care here just sucks. I am so grateful I have a pdoc who responds quickly to urgent messages and makes room for emergency appts. ASAP. I too often go into psychosis within a few days of mania hitting, so I need care quickly. Even if my pdoc doesn't have room for an emergency appt., he usually will make a temporary med adjustment over the phone until he can get me in for an appt. Sorry your pdoc is less accomodating.
