I either don’t sleep very much or I’m up for hours in the middle of the night. Yesterday I managed to take a 3-hour nap and that straightened me out until last night again. Insomnia is listed as a side effect of Vraylar. Maybe it will just go away?

When will Vraylar work and get rid of the hypomania?

Sleep when ever you can, this is probably one of the most important self care one can do is sleep as much as you are able. That will help to get your mood better.
good luck @Moose72

I had to stop Vraylar for this reason. Was getting less and less sleep until it came to the point when I had to take Zyprexa again to intervene. And for me, it actually made me start the ascent into mania.

I'm getting 3-4hours of broken sleep a night even with trazidone. I'm only on 1.5 Dr wants to raise the dose next week if I keep it down. So far I love it so much more than latuda but they tell me to rest, relax and not get too stressed. I often can't sleep on non sedating meds but they won't give me theorizing back. So I don't know what can be done.

You won't know until you take it consistently. I took it consistently for 3 years and it was good however I was using drugs heavily to combat lethargy.

Seroquel lethargy is even worse though, so, maybe I should have stayed on. But I lost insurance and it's very expensive without.

They upped my dose to 3 mg two days ago and my sleep is fine. I actually slept in today!
