The bachelor degree will show on the transcript as being from the internationsl online school and not a state university in the likelihood. So potential employers won't know it even if a state university endorses it. That is the probability. You should be prepared to face that too.

No employer will respect bachelor degree obtained in 10 days or 85 days or even 91 days. The sheer fact that this institution suggests that one can get it that quick says a lot about the institution. I’d be careful obtaining degree through them.

Anyone that doesn't think this is a need. Try to stay out of the kitchen all day. You can only get drinks unless someone else cooks, you can get snacks but you can't use bowls, plates or silverware plus that costs extra. Now think of how annoying that is. Then think about it for a week, month, year...20 years. Oh eating hurts and you have limited food you eat.
Then you want to take a shower. You have to ask your husband. He has to have 30 minutes to set aside to help you in the shower. Each and every time for 20 years. Now imagine if your husband wasn't there. __________________ Dx: Me- SzA Husband- Bipolar 1 Daughter- mood disorder+ Comfortable broken and happy "So I don't know why I'm tongue tied At the wrong time when I need this."- P!nk My blog |

Forget the masters that's the only one that is international. The bachelor is from a state accredited school like any other state school.
Dentures that I need are 10k. __________________ Dx: Me- SzA Husband- Bipolar 1 Daughter- mood disorder+ Comfortable broken and happy "So I don't know why I'm tongue tied At the wrong time when I need this."- P!nk My blog |

But some things I am confused on. Do you have a shower chair where you can sit and wash up in the tub? Why can’t you go in the kitchen? You can’t use dishes? You can get some from Salvation Army. You only need a few and just rinse them every time. Can you eat soft food? Does your doctor have any suggestions? It sounds very difficult but how obtaining all these marginally legitimate degrees will help with all that? |

And don't forget if you lose SSI, medical services, etc. it is NOT an easy process to get it back.

I can't use a shower chair. You still have to step over the tub.
I can't wash dishes I can't cook. I can't use a knife. So even simple bagels are out. I can bake highly processed finger food But then I have no plate. So I eat off cookie sheet when I get really hungry.. Dr suggestions are just keep applying for accessable housing. I'll eventually get it. Dentist suggest I pay $3k and then I can go on a 3 year payment plan. The degree is competency based. Meaning I have unlimited time to collect the first 90 credits or 1 class a month. The last 10 classes I have 10 months to complete but I only have 4 months of aid left. __________________ Dx: Me- SzA Husband- Bipolar 1 Daughter- mood disorder+ Comfortable broken and happy "So I don't know why I'm tongue tied At the wrong time when I need this."- P!nk My blog |

The degrees will help with a higher paying job. The job will let me get an accessable apartment, PCA and dental care. __________________ Dx: Me- SzA Husband- Bipolar 1 Daughter- mood disorder+ Comfortable broken and happy "So I don't know why I'm tongue tied At the wrong time when I need this."- P!nk My blog |

Medical is easy to get in this state it's a medical for all state. SSI is harder but there's an 8 months window you can try to work and keep SSI. You don't get paid but your not re evaluated when you fail. Then there's a 5 year period where if you fail they pay you until you get reevaluated after 5 years your **** out of luck.

If I can find an oral and maxillofacial surgeon that will make a case it is a medical necessity not a dental issue Medicaid will pay but I can't find one that accepts my insurance.

Why can’t you get a plate? From a dollar store?
You can buy bagels that are already sliced. Most are. |

Or go to goodwill to get plates, bowls, silverware, cups... Very cheap.

Can you ask your family if they have 2 extra plates somewhere? People often accumulate some dishes over time even if they do not have much money. If you can't make it to a dollar store or Goodwill, can you ask your family to go and buy 2 plates at a dollar stores for you that you will pay them back for?

The max you can make each month on SSDI if you're working is $800. I don't know what it is for SSI, if it's different or not.

Does your care team (pdoc, GP, therapist, vocational rehab) work with you on gaining life skills and some basic independence? Don’t need to be a good cook, I myself barely cook, I am just not good. But some basic meal prep, maybe they can help you to obtain basic utensils, do some food planning. No degrees or jobs can fix that. You need some basic skills. You don’t need to use a knife. Spatula, spoon etc Can you drink smoothie?
Do you have severe mobility issue not able to get into a tub? What does your GP say? Can they come up with something? Do you have a GP |
