Manic?

Reported continued hypo/mania to my case manager!

I feel like I want to jump out of my skin! Listening to music. Singing of two people- a countertenor and a little boy. My case manager had better get back to me!

I am so restless! Where is my case manager???

My case manager goes home soon! NOW what?

Just talked to somebody on a warm line anonymously. He helped calm me down from being to agitated. I called the crisis line at my nurse practitioner’s office and they listened to me and said they’d send a message to my np to see if I can get an earlier appointment. I hope it’s not med related! I’m so sick of changing meds!

I talked with my N3 on the phone last night. He was practicing Bach fugues on the piano! Those are hard! Then we talked about his music theory class. It’s divided up into 3 sections- beginners, intermediate, and advanced- that’s for music majors. I think N3 should be in that hardest group as he knows so much but the instructor has him in the intermediate group. I think this class is just going to end up being an easy A for him. It’s too bad! He could learn stuff that challenges him

I texted case manager telling her I’m in a mixed episode now. She’s not getting back to me.

Case manager finally talked with psych nurse practitioner who upped my Vraylar dose to 3 mg. Picked that up. Will take it tonight at bedtime. Also got a Covid shot today at Walgreens.

I’m still crying. My mom’s dog is doing poorly. They’re at an emergency vet about an hour from home.

I’m still so restless!

My mom’s dog is in icu overnight. She had something from when she got her teeth cleaned I think- something was lodged in her vocal cords blocking her airway. She nearly died this morning. My mom and stepdad are exhausted. This started at 4 am and they had to take her to a better equipped vet an hour away. They were there all day. She may need a tracheotomy- not sure. I think it has to do with her getting her teeth cleaned and some extracted yesterday.

Took my first higher dose of Vraylar. Let’s hope I don’t get side effects and this mania/mixed episode goes away!

One of my usually best friends says I will have problems with the new Vraylar dose simply because it is an increase. He says it will take several days. He’s so negative! On psych issues I’m beginning to see his true colors.

I went off vraylar on my own, which wasn't a great decision.

But my point is that I started using it as a PRN. I don't recommend not taking meds consistently BUT, it actually worked for me, as a PRN.

In a couple hours I would feel stripped of dopamine. I took 6mg pills.

So, just to say, hopefully it helps, it did for me.

I’m feeling so much calmer today. Not hyper. Not crying. Had to see the doctor about this rash I’ve got on the inner part of my butt. She prescribed some cream. Said it looked painful. It’s a yeast infection but not in the vagina.

Vraylar 3 mg is going well. Feeling a lot calmer and not hyper texting everyone. My email friend I’ve had for 20 years said he prefers email instead of texting. Too much misunderstanding via text and email has time to think before you write and to edit before you send.

I was lonely today but didn’t over text, over post , over email or talk on the phone too much.

Feeling good. Got enough sleep. Not as frenetic as a couple days ago. Pdoc visit seems so far away. It’s in 3 days. Still posting here and emailing my pen pal but not as much as I was. The emails have readable content. Going out for lunch with N1. She’s 27 today! Amazing! All my kids are real adults now. The other two just turned 25 and 23. (They were all conceived in January on an odd year.)

I don’t have any akathisia or distonia thank goodness but I’ve developed a side effect of Vraylar: constipation! Not fun. Took miralax and it worked! It’s the simple things in life that make you happy.

I thought I was getting better but nope! I just pmed someone 8 times in a row and don’t remember doing it and upon reading a few don’t remember their content! I’ll never make it to my Pdoc appointment on Wednesday. Seems too far away.

Seems I have been ostracized by several of my friends. Mania sucks!

Just talked with my friend on the phone. He said I was repeating myself- told him the same thing 3 times. I had no idea I was doing that.
