No psychiatrist ever told me that. I take 3200mg of gabby daily. That's serious! You'd think I'd have been warned by now if my heart would stop if I took a hot bath.

I've sat in hot tubs before and my heart didn't stop.

Caleb said he read “fatal arrhythmia “ not heart attack but my friend who helped develop gabapentin said “stop reading the internet”.

I was originally put on Gabapentin for nerve pain. My psych increased it for my anxiety. It helped some but not a lot. I had back surgery back in April and due to severe nerve pain I was moved up to the highest dose, 900mg 3 times a day. To say the least, at that point my anxiety was non-existent. I have been on the max dose of buspirone for quite some time. The gabapentin wasn't doing much for the pain and the neurosurgeon took me off and put me on progabulin. Anxiety became almost constant. My humming was back and never stopped and I was constantly rubbing. Now I am back on Gabapentin per Psych, along with the progabulin. The psych said tiredness could be an issue. I am resistant to meds making me sleepy...so far seroquel is the only thing that has helped with sleep. Still dealing with anxiety but it has took a step back a little. My ticks, above, have lessened.
