I just slept the day away. I think this is depression. I don’t want to be awake to see the world. Now I probably won’t be able to sleep tonight. Is this the fall from mania maybe? I am ruminating about the election. Yet I avoid all things to do with it. I should eat but I’m not hungry and haven’t been to the store recently. I haven’t showered. This morning I did go to the doctor and I still have that **** yeast infection. This is week 3 of that. Help. My cat keeps meowing! I just fed her. She wants me out of bed. I don’t usually get depressed.

Sounds like you're crashing. Sorry to hear you're feeling depressed. 😔 It'll pass. I usually go through a crash period after my hypo/manic episodes too, where I don't shower or do anything and just lay in bed and listen to Sigur Ros (the most depressing band in the WORLD). They normally last a week or so. Sometimes longer. Just depends.

I would talk to my psychiatrist about it. Can you take ADs? I only had a tiny, baby crash after this last hypo episode, and I think it's because I'm on sertraline now. It softened the blow so to speak.

🫂 ❤️

I was taken off Wellbutrin for some reason back in the spring. We’ll see what Pdoc has to say.

It’s 3:30 a.m. and I’m wide awake because I slept so much yesterday.

I'm not sure if you or others can relate, but I find after manic episodes I always have a "crash" but it's not necessarily depression. If it's w/o depression I just sleep a lot, but it's like a day or three and it doesn't have any other true depressive episode symptoms. Like a baby meth comedown in a way.
