Is there a difference between "isolating in a maladaptive coping way" or "protecting everyone from the beast"?
Because I don't know how to talk to people withoutt screaming and then I cry and cut and feel awful and what the fk am I? If I weren't human they'd think I was rabid and shoot me and give vaccines to anyone I touched. So, no, it's a GOOD thing to isolate when "this is your brain on bath salts" except it's "this is your brain without love."

My heart goes out to you. I often feel like I need to protect people from my moods which can suck the joy out of any room. I isolate a lot.
