Go @Crazy Hitch! We can do this. We are strong. 💪

I'm done eating for today. Overall I had: half a cup of oatmeal, two tablespoons of flaxseed, a banana, three cups of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, one cup of rice, one cup of beans, two cups of peas, a cucumber, and a cup of grape tomatoes.

Sounds like a lot I know, but it was within my calorie limit.

I am DETERMINED to lose weight. My jeans WILL fit again!

I didn't remain strong. 😕 I was limp. I had a cheese stick because I was starving. I have failed.

@raspberrytorte a cheese stick is okay! Don’t sweat it you were hungry. I looked at what you ate and maybe you needed the protein so there you go.

@Crazy Hitch

Thanks. 😊

So far today I've had a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

So today I went to buy my first pack of Contrave (my gp had given me my first one as a sample).

It bloody well cost $250 for not even 28 days supply. I was so embarrassed I didn’t know if I should tell the cashier thanks but no thanks but I landed up paying for it!!! This is the last month I’ll be on it then so I may as well make the most of it while I can. Fml.

Today I ate pretty much the same as yesterday, except I only had one cup of milk and one cup of peas. When my husband comes home he's making us fruit smoothies, which should be tasty. He just blends up frozen fruit with a bit of soy milk and agave nectar. Don't know how many calories it'll be though, unfortunately. I'll just have a little bit.

How is everyone doing today so far?

Do you have a scale and weigh yourself each day?

We have a scale but it's currently gathering dust underneath our bed and needs a new battery. I don't know if I'm going to get a new battery for it or not. I'm scared to know how much I weigh! I'm afraid it would make me awfully upset. 😭

Today I've had half a cup of oatmeal, two tablespoons of flaxseed, a banana and a cup of unsweetened almond milk so far.

Had to make myself finish it as the election tomorrow has made me completely lose my appetite.

Well I’m upset. I stood on the scale this morning and I’ve put on a tiny bit of weight. I know I shouldn’t weigh in every morning but it’s a compulsion. Numbers don’t lie.

I'm done eating for the day. I had the oatmeal, then a cheese stick, then a plain baked potato with only salt and pepper and a cup of peas, then an apple, and then a plain bean burrito.

I haven't calculated the calories, but I'm pretty sure that's within my limit.

@Crazy Hitch

I wouldn't get too frustrated. If it's just like a pound or something it could be water weight. I know that if our scale worked I'd stand on it ALL THE TIME and get frantic about my weight! Which is why I'm hesitant to get new batteries for it. I'm just making it my goal to fit into my jeans again.

My recommendation: Take the batteries out of your scale.... lol

@raspberrytorte What is the calorie limit you are trying to stick to? Just doing a rough estimate based on 20 months of calorie counting so I know guesstimates for those foods you may not be getting enough calories. Not taking in enough will keep you from losing too. Plus it's not healthy. Worried about you!

Kinda hard to keep stuff down today. I don't know what I actually ate. Crackers for one thing. People ***** at me about literally everything I eat but I can only handle certain foods at certain times. I had someone complain about the crackers. Like what do you want me to eat?

@BeyondtheRainbow

Ah, don't worry about me. I'm fine. I counted calories for a while too and know how much that was. After picking our daughter up tonight she really wanted ice cream, so I ended up having a bowl. Don't know how many calories that was, but I'm sure I met my limit. I'm shooting for 1200 max, preferably below 1000 though. I've done it in the past and it worked. I just have to start exercising again. 💪
