I handed out Swedish fish for Halloween. I had a giant bag of Swedish fish and sour cabbage patch kids.

I slept very well, having trouble waking up. Make my last trip to Rochester for a while today. Just in time too. There’s snow forecast next week.

She’s really a very friendly sweet loving playful cat she just isn’t fond of people other than me. She hisses at my sister when she’s over visiting too

It was so scary. I was vacuuming our bedroom and the vacuum hit the radiator and it sounded like something ignited and sparks went flying! I squealed like a little girl! Then it smelled like burning. I texted my husband about it and he put in a maintenance request. I don't trust that radiator now. I turned the heat WAY down in here! I'm just happy the carpet didn't catch on fire or anything. Those sparks looked evil. 😈

Other than that exciting event not much has happened today yet. I did my usual cleaning, took my shower, ate a nuclear power plant sized apple for lunch (seriously. The thing was HUGE!). Took my anti-anxiety pills and a seroquel. Ready for a nap. Know I should write, but I keep on procrastinating for some reason! I don't know why!

It's really starting to annoy me though. Maybe it'll annoy me enough to the point where I'll get angry 😠, and then be like, "FCK THIS!!!!" And start writing. That would be amazing.

Are new meds supposed to make you feel like you have the flu? I've been napping since I got done with therapy and I have this headache that won't go away. I listened to music while napping which might not have helped.

I drank a peppermint latte and now I feel pretty ok.

@Mountaindewed

Think it depends on the med and the individual.

yup. and the combo of meds, condition (etc. if I had a stomach pain, I wouldn't take Tylenol because I have poor liver functioning and that can cause further pain)

Feeling the autumn vibes today. It’s definitely cold today. Have the heat on, vanilla scented wax melting in my wax warmer and a cup of hot cinnamon tea in my pumpkin cup and a good book to read. A fun way to make ordinary moments feel really special.

Is a 135/95 blood pressure bad? I've had the worst heartburn since starting the new med last night, and tums and Pepto aren't working. I'm wondering if I should be concerned or not.
Possible trigger:

I went to the dr today for lower back pain but while I was there I said I felt faint. They gave me juice and crackers. The dr looked in my ears because I said I felt like they were closing up. She thought my back pain was just from my period even though it was the day before my period and severe when my friend with benefits was over. Not your normal period backache!

I called N2. She found an urgent care that is open till midnight and can do ivs! (I do NOT want to go to the ER!). They're open till midnight! She has to do an errand but will pick me up around six since I can't drive feeling faint. I told the nurse I'd been feeling lightheaded and faint especially when walking, my mouth is super dry, I've had diarrhea for days probably because my regular doctor told me to take miralax every day! I was feeling this way at 8:30 this morning in the drs waiting room and told the doctor how I was feeling but she thought all I needed was something to eat. Eating didn't help! Not even lunch with Noah helped! She was more concerned with my back pain. Which I'm all set for now but the muscle relaxer might be dehydrating or at least give me a dry mouth. My mouth is so dry that it hurts and biotene only lasts less than 5 minutes. What a quandary. I haven't taken the new muscle relaxer yet. I guess I should write down all the meds I'm on. At least the nurse on the phone had the flow chart that said to get IV fluids! I don't think I've ever been this dehydrated before! The biotene for dry mouth isn't lasting but for 5 minutes! Aha! Someone told the doctor I saw and she said that the diarrhea wasn't mentioned at the appointment. Now N2 is driving home and then going back out for something then putting me on the waitlist online and THEN picking me up! I should eat and get my med list together.

I just got back from the best pedicure ever. They used hot stone to massage my legs. The colour I chose is metallic pink so it’s got a shiny gloss. Self care is real I tell you! Just ordered my son’s stationery online for next year. $85 so not that bad. I do need to get him new t shirts for his school uniform though he’s cut holes in his current one.

I took another dose of that med and I feel a lot more chilled out now. I ate some crackers for dinner and I'm listening to Whitney Houston. My therapist thinks I just like indie bands that are not well known, and Elton John. I'm actually a huge Whitney fan.

Dizzy as hell right now. But my friend got me some stuff from the pharmacy to hopefully help so we’ll see how it goes. Trying to avoid going to the hospital. I think it’s a combination of some kind of vertigo and electrolyte imbalance.

I exercised again so that makes three days in a row which i'm happy about. I'm enjoying the early dark. I ate too much junk today. It's an ongoing struggle. My dog has me worried as she's not doing too well. Hope she is okay. My tolerance for things was better today; not quite so irritable. Feel sore from exercising, but i guess that's to be expected. Drank a gallon of water, which means i didn't drink it as pop, so that's a win too.

Hugs to all in need!
