It's been 6 months of stability for me. I don't think I have been this stable since I can't even remember when (my wedding maybe, parts of my pregnancy). Most days I'm level (without being flat), happy a lot too. I am holding these feelings close, someday the bubble will burst, I'm sure, life being what it is. I never thought I'd find myself in this position. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.

Brilliant! I know when I first hit 6 months of stability I was constantly waiting for for the other shoe to drop. It hasn’t yet. I do have up and downs but they aren’t steep nor do they last. It been 8 yrs. I’m loving it. I told my therapist yesterday that I’m very grateful.

@Nammu - Wow! 8 years of stability! That really gives me hope for the future. I know there are always going to be ups and downs in life but to have it not turn so dire it's back to the hospital ASAP and if I can avoid psychosis, yeah that would be a good one too.

Thanks everyone for all the congrats. I am proud of myself too as it has meant sticking to taking my meds as described and especially not giving into that desire to cut my quetiapine dosage in half for more energy along with working hard on my sleep hygiene and being diligent about using the SAD lamp. Sometimes things I'd rather not do but keep doing them nonetheless because in the end they have made me feel so much better and even happy at times.
