That’ll be me tomorrow! But in a free tshirt from my peer support woman- it says “Wellness Begins Within”. After my coffee tomorrow I’m singing with the choir at our last Sunday before Summer break.

Yes. Thursday will be the second time we’ve gotten together. The first time went very well! We even talked on the phone for a little while Saturday. I’m curious as to what her diagnosis is but she did say she gets her mh care elsewhere which makes sense that you wouldn’t get care from people you work with. I’m not sure who hooked us up though! She doesn’t seem to know either! Wasn’t my case manager. I thought maybe it was my old short-term therapist but nope. Pdoc? Nope! So we’re both confused about how we got together! We seem to have a lot to talk about and my friends lately have been unavailable to get together with me. Besides- my peer support person has been trained in how to talk with me. I know it’s her job, but she makes it feel like friends. So a good balance between the two is what I hope we can have.
