not much info meself except that cyclothymia is a mild form of BP. sory cant help more.

Well, this is the bipolar spectrum:

1 being severe depression
10 being severe mania..
4-6 being normal mood,
Bipolar I suffers from 1-10
Bipolar 2 suffers from 1-8
cyclothmia suffers from about 2/3-8

meaning bipolar 1 feels all of it, bipolar 2 feels depression and a mild form of mania (or hypo mania) and cyclo. doesn't feel full mania, just hypomania nor full depression, just lots of sad spells.

So i guess it must be a tad easier to manage the cyclo, as it probably easier to manage II then it is I. however, as someone put it before ( can't remember who, sorry!) Bipolar disorder is as different as the people who suffer from it. No one can really manage bipolar I treatment free, however some people with Bipolar II might be able to, while others won't, same with cyclo. Some people are just moody, and can get through their lives without constant threrapy and meds, while other people need it desperately. Hope this helpsss
