Just to feel a little more human...I'd like to hear about everyone's experiences dealing with sexuality and being bipolar. I'm kind of a mess right now.

Hi CrackedLCD

Welcome to PC. I'm currently on a great cocktail of meds and receive therapy for my bi-polar. However, back in the day (when I was in denial of my illnesses), I was EXTREMELY promiscious and didn't give a crap if I put myself in a dangerous situation or if I hurt anyone. Luckily, as I said before, my treatment is going well, and I am not currently having any problems with this symptom.
I wish you well!

Take care,
Dee

Thanks for posting. I was wondering, do you still have that urge to be promiscuous and you just know how to keep it under control, or has the urge gone away completely? Sometimes I just wish it wouldn't exist for me. It would make things so much easier.
