I'm not sure if this is even in the right place, but i will put it here as this is where i have posted before, and when i first visited my nurse who got the ball rolling, she said that it could be Bi-polar.

Ok, so i visited my nurse first of all, who then sent me to a psychiatric doctor. i told him everything that was going on and he arranged for me to have and EEG to rule out the possibility of me having a form of epilepsy.
i had the EEG last week, and today i recieved a letter telling me i had been referred to the 'Early Intervention Service' (EIS), and that they would like to come to my house with a doctor in 2 days time.

Now, i have no idea what this means, and the fact that the letter was sent yesterday and that i recieved it today, when they want to see me in two days worries me as it sounds rather serious.

Could anyone please shed any light on my situation?

I've known people to go with their kids to EI. Usually for eating, autism, and other types of problems like that. They get the help they need to deal with these issues and do what they can to control, recover, or improve the situation. I'm sorry I can't help more.

Thanks for the reply.

Well, i had my meeting, and they have taken me on in their care, which will start in a few weeks.
I was also prescirbed Aripiprazole, to be taken once a day for one week, then increased to two for twenty-one days. Apparently this is for depression and anti-psychosis.

Anyone had any experience with this drug, or had a similar path to mine?

Oh, also, i thought i would have had to pay for my pills, being 19, and not in any education or vocation. However, i was just handed my pills without the blink of an eye. Is this because it is a mental medicine, or am i completely unclear on the health laws?

Well if you are bipolar its good you found out now. Like any thing broken bones illness Ect. the longer you let it go without getting help the worst it gets till you do enough damage you never get it fix back to when you were heathy.Bipolar know different and its not till most bipolar's have a complete break that find out that they have bipolar . For me i found out when i was 35 and has taken 7 years to get to a point where life is worth living again. But I will never be the same so many things have change for me .Things I use to take for granted now have become very hard for me to do finding out your bipolar early can save you years of non stop pain .Pain that I cant even put into worlds. So your lucky to find out sooner then later .
