I was just wondering if anybody has a medic alert bracelet for their bipolar. I got one since I'm on 9 different medications, I thought it would be a good idea to have one.

i have one for my schizophrenic ex-husband who i caretake. it's a wonderful option, not exprensive, and gives one peace of mind in the event of an emergency.
you are so right about the med piece. it's very helpful for those of us that take meds for BPD in the event we could not speak or advise medical people.

I am so glad you brought that up. There are times my mind is so shot that I can't think of the right answers to people's questions (that includes my doctor too). I wonder is anyone else has gotten the bracelet or necklace? Anyone done it or have an opinion?

I bought a bracelet. When I was diagnosed with my blood disorder, my hem/onc suggested I get one. I also listed psych meds. I don't wear the bracelet though, I took the emblem off and put it on my key ring. I also keep a card in my wallet and in the glove compartment.
