Hey there, what are you on now, sweetie and why is it not working for you?

I am on lithium and it works a treat for me........some have real issues with this med so talking to your doctor will help.....

Don't leave it too long........and put yourself in unnecessary danger.

Be safe......

What meds you would be on are for specific problems. What works for one will not for another

I am on prozac and lamictal. I will be going to a therapist on Tues. but I will have to get my meds changed thru my personal doc. I am having major ups and downs and having a really hard time functioning at work without feeling like I am going to cry, freak out, very forgetful. etc. I talked to one doc on the phone she said that I am on the wrong meds for this. Thanks, E

If you have bipolar, anti-depressants can cause manic episodes.......not denying they have their place but maybe not for you. As for lamactil, I do not know much about that med......

I am glad that you are seeing your T. Are they a psychiatrist or psychologist? I am not to familiar with the American medical system(only that you guys really struggle over there!!). If you can have both........really good for treatment.

I am so glad you replied........it is good to hear that you are getting help, even if it seems to take forever!!

Keep us updated........
