I was wondering where people fell in these departments. I have had religious experiences like Angel voices, demons growling, and not on meds I tend to be quite psychic....I think. Anway...I used to read tarot cards, and have always had tremendous faith..but stopped doing them because it was a trigger for me, and because I later read in the bible I was going to go to hell for it. I was just wondering what people's experiences are, etc.

I know exactly what you mean. I have more evil spirits and demons. Wish an angel would come. I also read that the tarot cards were bad in the bible so stopped engaging in participating in card readings. Did you ever use a ouija board?

Yup.....it worked. Freaked me out. told me the truth about my first husband when I was 16. Said that my husband's name would start with a "J", and that we'd get married b/c I got pregnant. I was dating a guy named Jason at the time....but it wasn't who I married. But they guy I did marry name was Jason, and we got married a few months after me getting pregnant. Ya...I've done the ouija board....It's not a game, and they shouldn't sell it in toy stores. IMO

Yes. Defintely not a toy. It told me my grandfathers name and no one around me even knew his name. They did not know my family. Then we could hear from the little boy who tried to communicate through the board. Never again would I use it.

I'm not at all psychic but have had some mystical experiences. Feeling the presence of God surround and envelope me in a really bad time - everything was in technicolour and bigger than and better than life. I believe it was a taste of what heaven will be like. I'm sure my doctor would not agree!!!!! It's happened again twice since that first time but not to the same extent.
Had some freaky presence/ ghost type things before I became Christian...

Hyperreligiousity with hallucinations & delusions is a common diagnosis for those of us who are BP and ultra-sensitive to spiritual things. Be careful your meds are adjusted, and share these experiences with your pdoc to help determine what is real and what might be leading to some psychosis.
That being said, when I was psychotic, I was aware of my spiritual self to a magnified degree, and had insights that have help shape my belief system as it is today. Could they have been God's way of letting me know He is there, and there is an evil dimension in the spiritual world? My experience proved that to me.

I definitely see more demons than angels and I am a Christian- although lately you wouldnt know it . I have used the oujia board and it is pure evil! My husband tends to see things differently and things that mental illness is just the devil inside of you taking hold......

I think the same way your husband does too a lot of days. Esp. when I read the bible.

I am not religious or psychic, tho raised in a very strict religious home, some of my psychosis will involve religion.

I do have what I think is an extremely sharp intuition. Maybe because my mind is weaker, as a protection mode, I don't know.
