I think I'm bipolar I have ADHD and I'm 15. I've ruined friendships and my family. I don't know how to tell my mom I think I'm bipolar I've researched symptoms and I just know. I'm to scared to tell my therapist the truth about a lot of things and I'm really confused how to tell my mom because I truely know she's bipolar but she refuses to go get help I know she'll tell me I'm just ****ed up and a bad person. I'm scared my life will get worse than it is. I just lost two bestfriends cause I had sex with the guys they love I couldn't stop my self I'm so lost right now and I feel like I'm on top of the world but I'm upthere alone and horribly depressed

I feel the best thing for you to do is talk to someone who you trust and totally be honest with them you dont have to feel so alone through this and you are being very brave if you do. Having depression is bad enough let alone thinking you may have bi-polar you need to have it diagnosed by a doctor first and then maybe you could tell the doctor about your mother.
We all have felt alone at one time or another in our lives but you are only 15 and this is way too much for you to handle by yourself.
I wish you the best for whatever decision you make but dont ever think you are alone.
warm regards scooby.

Hi...

From what you say in your post, I think you really need to open up to your therapist. You need to see a pdoc, I think, but it sounds like your mom wouldn't be open to that at this point.

Since your mom is on your b___ your therapist is really the only answer, maybe your family doc. If one of them thinks you need further help then perhaps they can convince your mom into letting you have an initial consultation.

Even though you are only 15, you have to try to take responsibility for your treatment. If you do have bipolar, you will have to that for the rest of your life. (I know that sounds scary, but you can do it!)

If you EVER feel like you might try to hurt yourself, go IMMEDIATELY to an emergency room. They will get you the help you need.

We all hope for the best for you, and we are here to help, or just to listen and give you a hug. Please take care of yourself, we are with you!

Thank you all! I was just diagnosed with bipolar disorder and it's a sort of a relief to know that what ever has been going on inside of me can be sort of explained i guess. Thank you all for your help!
Thanks for this!

That's great to hear. At least know you have some idea of what you are facing. Be strong, things will get better. Remember your parents and your docs only want is best for you.

Be healthy!
