Hello,
Dear friends, i feel so much better. Thank you for ur support. It seems like i found a lot lately. A T, a good treatment, a boyfriend, a girlfriend and a partner for a longer term. A bp type 1 non medicated partner to go and live in Scotland with. We took long time to discuss all the aspects of the relationship. But we were both down. Now, we get better. For me, its almost manic, hypersexual and i can be agressive. With meds. He s'like me, turning manic now. Without meds. I wonder how long it will take our love affair to take a Rocky Balboa turn. And i never had an affair with another bipolar. Could anyone tell me something about this kind of case? A couple of type 1. Thank u so much. Take care. |

My husband has bipolar disorder, I don't know if it is type 1 or type 2. He won't take mood stabilizers, but takes risperadone and effexor. I went on zoloft around the same time. Why? Well, usually our moods conflict, when I'm up, he's down and when he's up I'm down and this is a good balance, but when we're both down, that can be very dangerous as we've learned in the past, so meds were needed when we were both becoming depressed. I think that's what you need to watch out for. Feeding off of each other's mood to the point where your life might spin out of control. Also, I think if you're not so understanding, it's really annoying when you're wanting sex lots and your partner is depressed and doesn't want any ever. Both my husband and I have been on both sides of that story and while it's not fun, we both have the ability to put ourselves in the other's shoes. Got to avoid being self-centred in any relationship, but when you throw stupid moods into the mix, it might be more important.
