Or is it bipolar talking? And the BPD? At the same time!!!

I was on the computer doing my disorder sites, and I had to get up, and leave the computer. When I left, Isabella was banging on the computer, and clicked everything down. Some how 1 corinthians chapter 13 was searched in the google bar. So I thought...what the heck I'll pull it up. =)

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...13&version=KJV

This was what came up on the page. I noticed there was a lot about charity. I thought to myself...I've kinda been doing that on these sites...people helping me, me relating and helping people like me. So I read it and I'm pondering if I'm supposed to go and do some BPD, and BP charity work outside my home when the kids go back to school.

Hmmm....I have a month or more to ponder...what do you think? A true message from god through the computer.....or my mind playing tricks on me?

I can not verify or deny that it was a message from God. I can say in my ownexperience that God communicates to me in many different ways, so it is not impossible that He could use the computer.

I have been tolkd by my pdoc and others that sometimes the best thing to do to help ourselves is to forget about ourselves, for a time, and go hlep others. It is in giving that we receive.

I think the idea of helping others is a sound one. If you can manage ti withouth causing more stress in your life, I say go for it!

it was a cosmic coincidence, i would be very wary of trying to help others in your position, due to the triggering effects it could have on your well being. voluntry work is food for your soul, we all not what happens when we dont eat , we get hungry.
Thanks for this!

I believe in a God who is omnipotent and does not allow for coincidences. In a universe ruled by this God, everything that happens to you is a message from Him; the hard part is determining what the message is saying.

I do not know if God wants you to volunteer with people with mental disorders. I do know that there is a reason why you found that particular passage at that particular time, a reason why He allows you to suffer from BPD and bipolar, and a reason why you are wondering right now if this is a message from Him.

Have you considered volunteering in the past? If so, has the idea of helping those with MI ever occurred to you before? Are you currently stable (like protector said, you don't want to be triggered by your voluntary work; however, if you feel that you are well enough, I see no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to take a risk. Your background allows you to offer a type of hope to the people you serve that other volunteers cannot provide. And why should you have limits?)

Think about it. Pray about it. And let us know what you decide.

Funny you say that because she is a very unique child, and is going to be four years old, but has the mind of a two year old. God chose an interesting child to use to speak to me.
