Any recommendations for Residential Treatment Facilities that specialize in BPD. One that you've heard of, has helped you or has helped someone you know?

I do not have any suggestions for you. The only thing I can think of is to do a Google search for one. I know they exist and they are expensive, but I do not know which of them are good and which are not so wonderful.

I do wish you the best on your search and hope things get better for you.

Hi , I also have B.P.D and a list of other Mental heath issues, and i do not know what to suggest to you, as i feel as im in my on little world most of the time, thats why i am so glad i have found this site, as i cannot talk to anyone about how im feeling, except my therapist, i feel so alone at times and feel no one really understands how it is for me at times, if you want to add me as a friend that woud be good,as i to would like to be able to talk with someone who may understand, i do wish you the very best and hope you get the help and support you are looking for. : )

I'm currently attending one that specializes in BPD. It's called Skyland Trail

http://www.skylandtrail.org/

It focuses on DBT and social integration in a holistic manner with Art, Music, Horticulture, and nutrition courses. It also has groups for dealing with family and depression, and each day you would be in a 45 minute DBT class. I absolutely love it there.
