My girlfriend has BPD tendencies, but has not been diagnosed. I want to tell you about some things she has shared with me. Maybe you will relate in some way.

She says her feelings toward others are like waves. When the wave is up she wants to spend time or talk with that person. And when the wave is down she could do without them. I don't know if hate is the right word to use, but sometimes it can feel that way.

Does anyone feel similar?

Ha. All the time. Doesn't make her BPD though. That's a common thing with everyone. We don't wanna spend time with people we don't like or can't be bothered with - That's just human nature.
