My therapist was one of the unlucky few to be kicked off the DBT team, because there was too many DBT workers.

Apparently my care coordinator will take over, but she's useless. She doesn't give me anything to go away with, no advice, nothing.

Yep, it sucks. My care coordinator doesn't challenge my behaviours or anything. She's just "oh right, try not to be doing that again" and moves on.

Is it possible to ask your care coordinator for a referral to someone else on the team?

No, it's not possible. It's all majorly short staffed in my area for mental health, nothing I can do.

I went thru this too in treatment.

Telling someone to stop a behavior doesn't always stop it and there are reasons for our behavior that need to be dealt with. If someone cannot or will not help us with that, their services, to me, are useless.

So sorry that happened.

I find much more help on these peer boards.

Keep talking to us as you feel like it.
