when I hear voices it tends to be in my head its normally a group of ppl talking about me in voices I do not recognise.I was told its not auditory hallucinations but that i have an over active imagination.surely if it was my imagination,id be doing the talking,to be the voices in my head are separate from my own inner voice.so i dunno.i do now and again hear the odd calling of my name outside my head when no ones about but 99 percent its inside
Thanks for this!

I get the same thing. Name calling and low wispers that sound like radio talk shows. lol I used to call them my flintstone voices when I was like 3. I get them with stress, and lack of sleep. The worst I''ve heard was a growling in my sink or outside the sink...freaked me out, but I knew it couldn't be real. I didn't know some of them weren't real, and I'll go around the house looking for the radio or television that is on...then I realize..DAH!!! and laugh....and mention it the next time I'm in therapy. =)
