Is there any suggestions for someone with BPD to do outside of therapy? Anything that helped anyone else?

Since I just recently learned about my BPD and started therapy. I only go to therapy twice a month because that is all I can afford.

I would love any suggestions.

Thank everyone so much!

Hi AmbivalentAnomaly, welcome to Psych Central!

You might want to take a peek at the DBT Discussion and Support social group and its forum. Anyone can read there. You'll need to join the group if you want to post, but it looks like you already have enough approved posts to do that.

Neither the group nor its forum have been very active lately, unfortunately, but many of the members who've participated there are still active here. Some of the posts from a few years ago mention mindfulness skills and other stuff you might be interested in.
Thanks for this!

Yahoo also has a DBT class that several of us have found useful. There is a link for it on the thread that is titled something like "BPD Books and Resources". Also, a lot of us are active on this forum because it is therapy in itself just to know that you are not alone and that others are also attempting to deal.
Thanks for this!

You may want to check out the following site. It has been helpful to me more than a couple of times
