I'm Donatella,
I'm Italian and I live in Tuscany, in the middle of Italy..
First of all, sorry for my English, which is not very good.
I'm here because a few months ago I was diagnosed Borderline Personality Disorder...Unfortunately, this disorder is not well known in my country...so in this moment I feel very alone and misunderstood by other people...
Hope to find nice people here that can understand my feelings...
Thank you for know
Dona

Welcome to PC and the Borderline Forum! I hope that you'll find a lot of supportive people here and find the answers you need. There's a ton of information and many people who will understand your issues here. Just post a little about yourself and ask a lot of questions!

Good luck and welcome again.. *hugs*

Thank you very much....As I wrote before, I was diagnosed BPD last March...Since that time I've been doing individual therapy twice a month....It's not enough for me...the main problem for me is the fear of abandonement...I live alone, my parents dead whwn i was six (father because of a cancer) and ninteen (mother of a violent death..she dead burnt)...and now I'm in troble because I've got the fear of abandonement (even it's not real) of my very best friend...I don't know what to do...I've got racing heart, sickness, I feel stupid...and so on...My thoughts are always there...I don't know DBT and I'd like to do something for myself, on my own, between an individual therapy and the next...
Sorry if my English it's not so good..and thank you so much for have read my post..
wish you all the best

Welcome! I have bpd too.

Even where I am, it's very misunderstood.

Here, you are not alone.

I am glad you found us.
