![]() For me this struck me in a very unique way. Initially this struck me as something that we BPD sufferers can relate to in the sense that we tend to sabotage our lives and relationships repeatedly. We get things going good and then we feck them up you know? I know you all can relate to it. So in a way this is a mantra we have that we fight to get rid of - does that make sense? On the positive side and another meaning - Seeking discomfort in the sense of moving forward, making changes and improving. Pursuing any kind of change and/or success requires a lot of enduring uncomfortable situations and feelings so if you look at it this way, seeking discomfort is a way to say "hey I know i need to change myself, my life and it's not always going to be comfortable" Seeking d discomfort is like saying you're looking to stretch yourself, to grow beyond your comfort zone. I hope that some of you find this meaningful. I know maybe I'm full of sht but hey finding out I'm full of sht is uncomfortable so maybe it's good? (lmao) ~s4 |
