I am not sleeping and it wearing me out so I can't focus

I have a speech therapist going to my daughters school today to have it confirmed that my daughter has ASD this should have been done years a go (she is almost 15) but the school wouldn't listen, she is also seeing a psychologist on Thursday for the first time, My daughter also has selective mutism and does struggle at school so only does part time atm.

Anyway life in general at the minute I could write a story but I don't want to bore you all, Just that I have a lot of anger right now and I need my strength for today and need to find it from somewhere and somehow.

Hang in there Buttercup!! I'll be thinking of you. Like I told Miss Keena, we all seem to be angry. Welcome to National Piss Off a Borderline Week!! We need to mark our calendars for next time!
Thanks for this!

I am certainly thinking of you. You do have a lot going on. I hope your daughter's treatment will get on the right track soon.

Have you had DBT, by any chance? I likely won't be able to answer here, since I don't get on this forum much at all, but if you're interested in chatting, you know where I am.

Of course you have anger--we all do when our kids suffer and could have avoided suffering with proper, early treatment. I ache with you, sweet ((((((( Buttercup ))))))).
I hope your daughter's psychologist can integrate all of this into one sensible, healthy approach.

Thank you

I am so tired and yet I can't sleep, I have to get kids up in just over an hour
Maybe we should have our own "Check in anger thread"

Sorry Payne I just realized that I hadn't answered your question about DBT, No not done DBT yet but my Pdoc had mentioned it to me a couple of months back I am not sure if he still has plans for this, I see him again on Friday so will ask about it.

I hope you're feeling better. I understand about dealing with your child's ASD. My child is 12 and he suffers from those things too but I'm trying to get him help now.

I know it's frustrating and taking it's toll on you. Know that you can always come here for support...

*hugs*

Thank you everyone.

It was confirmed this morning that my daughter does have ASD.
We will see the child psychologist tomorrow and go from there.

Took my daughter to see her psychologist today and she was very helpful.
She is going to have a meeting with the team and see what support they can offer her also she got my daughter to fill in a questionnaire which contained about 80 questions my daughter seemed to suffer greatly from high anxiety.

We have a meeting at school on Wednesday morning and some other people with be there who are involved with my daughter they are thinking of putting her in a school especially for autism so will see how it goes.
