Lol, I really must be psychotic...today I seen my T and she read my feelings and told me I've been neglected by my parents. I knew this already but hearing it again made me feel so alone. I literally cried after seeing her. She also asked if she could see my scars and I showed her, her words were very heartbreaking for me because she said (I quote): wow, I see your pain...looks like you've been in pain for a long time. Do I sound stupid for possibly over-reacting? Is it even over-reacting?

No, you don't sound stupid. These are things that we hold inside of us every day. It can be tough to hear someone else actually articulate it for us. Sometimes it's because we think we do a really good job of hiding it and sometimes it's because it's just hard to hear someone else say it. It can be all kinds of things. Anyway, no, it doesn't sound stupid.
Thanks for this!

I think you reacted to having someone show you that they care about you and that is not over reacting.

Your t sounds like a very caring individual and that is nice.

I've cried before just simply for the fact that someone recognized my pain like that. You go through life feeling so misunderstood all the time that when someone actually connects to your pain, recognizes and empathizes with you, it's not only shocking but inevitably brings a reaction like this. It's not overreaction at all.

No....not an overreaction. I rarely think of certain events of my childhood without crying, and having someone point them out to me like that would definitely cause me to break down. Many of these events are why we have BPD and are here in the first place...
Thanks for this!
