The diversity and intensity of my emotions can be a good thing. As a writer, I can most accurately portray emotions that I've felt.
Being a perfectionist doesn't have to be a curse. When applied to my art, it gives me better results. As a writer, being empathetic makes it easier to get inside a character's head. I'm less likely to leave plot holes because I pay attention to details (mixing analyst and perfectionist). For crying out loud, they're personality traits, not a curse! If it's a crime to feel strongly, lock me up! ![]() So, yeah. I've decided not to be a slave to my mind. Not very productive. ![]() ![]()

BPD does bestow us with certain gifts. Being intensely emotional gives us a level of insight others don't have. I do think it takes overcoming the negative attributes of BPD to truly harness the benefits, though. But I like your outlook. Very positive.

Totally agree! Just think for a moment about how many great artists throughout history with BPD, Depression, BiPolar, etc.
