Hello, So last week after months of testing and tons of different drugs i finally got a real diagnosis that makes sense, Borderline Personality disorder. I havent read any other threads, so I decided to make my own. But What do you guys go through on a daily basis. for me i got rapidly changing emotions ranging from hours of intense anger to minutes of happiness just constand rapid cycling. I feel empty most of the time, i dont really have much joy about anything. They got me taking Topamax and Lorazepam. But I'd love hear from anyone else and how you deal with things what you take and how yall manage, maybe it can help me understand. TAKE CARE

Hi Topher,
Welcome. I'm sorry to hear of your suffering with BPD, but I'm glad you finally have insight into what I'm sure has plagued you your whole life. Tell me, how long have you been on your meds? And what are they mainly for? I'm medicated predominantly for anger, aggression, irritability and agitation. Just curious of that's what you're trying to get under control, too.

Hi Topher, Anger would not be one of my main emotions really. I do, however have rapid cycling moods. I can be really motivated and 'high' one minute and the next I can't move out off the couch(and can stay there for hours!!). The only med I take is Cymbalta, which does help with anxiety.
