Well another day I wake and sit and analyze things. I want to know why I have this disorder and when things will get better. Life is pretty s**t at present I feel i am sinking lower and lower and dealing with this on my own is not nice. I have read on many posts that people take meds, do they really work and whats the downfall.
Hope you all have a great day.

I take Prozac to help with the MDD. Doesn't do anything for the BPD. I think most drugs will only help with the co-morbid conditions.

Nick you are not alone. There's a bunch of us on PC, but I know what you are saying. Just keep reading and checking in.

Yes it does hurt BAD!!!!! Everyone hurts when someone they love turns their back on them. That's a normal reaction to loss. But you are doing something positive. You are here. And that's important.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've had positive benefits from meds. Right now, I'm only on a mood stabilizer b/c of the wild swings in moods I've been having. Yes meds do help some people.

You sound a little like me. I tend to over analyze things, instead of just feel. In my years of therapy, I've learned that is a defensive mechanism that I use so I don't have to feel the feelings. Feel them. They suck and hurt, I know. But feel them. Then analyze why you feel that way. That's what works for me. Once I figure out why I feel the way I do, I can do something about it.

Okay, I feel like I'm rambling. I hope I've been some kind of help to you Nick. There are quite a few people on here from the UK. Check out the chats if you have the time. Great people on here.
