I'm not sure if anyone has posted this on here before, but I came across it last night and just rang so true to me. Could not watch it without bawling my eyes out actually. Talk about summing me up.

Thanks for this!

Wow thankyou so much for this. About to show my bf, it says what I can't find the words to begin to explain it!

I have a little issue with these videos...

Don't they make us look like total cheesy wusses?

I don't think so. It just summed up me tbh! If that makes me a cheesy wuss then I dunno...don't think it does though!

God, NO....!

I'm sorry it's NOT what I meant at all!

I'm just never sure who these videos actually target. Since this one and many others are called "this is how bpd feels like" or similar, I always assume that they are for the "untroubled". Those who don't have bpd. In order to make them understand...

I sort of worry that in their eyes we might appear as a bunch of cheesy wusses and I'm not sure it's helpful.
Thanks for this!

It's alright I know you didn't mean it like that, I was just messing around

I know what you mean. I showed it to my boyfriend though as I find it really hard to explain myself. I think it opened his eyes somewhat to what actually goes on inside my head but I don't think it made him think I'm a cheesy wuss.

He did say it was 'interesting'....interesting for him maybe!! Not for us living with it

Thank you so much for this... It really is a crazy world we live in, huh? Crazy, wonderful, and complete hell all at once...

Yes, I do appreciate that such a piece often has much more power making a non-sufferer understand a little bit about it than some dry science talk.

They do unless you realize BPD males are different.

Yes, maybe I am a cheesy wuss. (See avatar.) And I'm afraid to watch it because it might trigger me.

It definitely triggered me. Even trying to watch it the third time I still ended up crying. I don't think it makes us look like cheesy wusses, although I was reserved in showing my boyfriend who newly knows exactly what is wrong with me (for lack of a better phrase) and he could relate to it a lot, seeing all the signs in me.

I think it could make someone with bpd feel that way as our emotions are all over the place as it is, so what one feels and reacts to the video could be entirely different to the next person.

Personally, even though it upsets me to watch it.. It also empowers me. Shows me all the hell I have been through, and continue to survive each day with.

Not every day will I feel this way, but glad I checked this post when I'm in this mood lol

I don't self hurt and I don't show my true feelings so openly.
