Hi everyone. I'm new to this, so hopefully I will make sense. I have not been diagnosed with bpd, but a psychiatrist has mentioned it to me in the past( of course, I then quit going cuz it made me angry). Even though I have not been diagnosed, I believe that I have this disorder. I have almost all the symptoms and it actually makes me understand myself more (for along time I just thought I was crazy, lol). Is there anyone that can give me any advise on how to live with this? I don't have the money to go to a psychiatrist, but I know something has to give! I cannot find a relationship and when I do, I end them after a short time. I fall in love quickly and cannot get enough of the guy and then I get sick of him and hate him quickly. I have not been in a serious relationship in about 2 years. But I am scared because I don't think I will because of this disorder, and I hate to be alone. I am so lonely, even though I have wonderful children, it is ruining my life. I don't know what to do to help myself feel better. If anyone has any advice, please give me some of it.

The only thing I can suggest is a mental health centre. I'm in Canada, so finding this kind of care is a bit different here I think. Hopefully some US people can chime in. Really though it comes down to good therapist I think.

I am going to make an appointment tomorrow with a Psychiatrist. I have Medicaid right now but will be losing it soon, but I figure I will see a Psychiatrist until I lose Medicaid. At least she can give me some kind of diagnosis.
