She says that I have lots, but not all, of the symptoms for it and the background. I was just diagnosed with Cyclothymia in September. Do I have both or one or the other? When does the guess work stop and when do i feel better? I'm confused. What's going on?

How long does it take to be effective? I know that's hard to gauge but I want to move out of the US soon.

You could have both. I def have bp as much as I hate to accept that. But I have bpd traits I need help with and support, so this forum helps too. It may take time to figure it all out but I think you'll get to know your moods and which thing they relate to better. Also the therapy could really help you figure it out. It's hard and very confusing, they have many overlaps.

I have been in DBT for a year now..... I openly admit that I was pretty resistant to it at first. I am becoming more open to it and believe it can work. But you have to WANT it to work. Then I would say within a year you could be seeing tangible results.

Oh no! I have confidence in it, but I want to move in March. Being out of the country for a month this summer was hard on me
