I think some perceive those with bpd (or bpd traits) (and other axis 1 dxs) as being manipulative.... When if they knew what was really going on...... So much triggers them, and yes they have been working on those triggers.... And they are hanging on by a thread of a thread... For just one more minute. and they don't want to... They are doing it for someone else . And they can't see why this person wants them to be alive (this person Irl). they hate themselves so much and/or have internalised the lies from all the abusers, and yes they've been working on this. But where does this work lead? One in ten....

This post completely sucks...... if I don't censor all my thoughts.... (edit)

((Fuzzy)) Little by little, I've been working on the various BPD traits that I have. Little by little they are getting better. I still am triggered, a lot, but little by little I'm learning to recognize what is going on inside my own head. It's taken me close to 20 years of work, but little by little I'm getting better.

Do it for you, and no one else. Do it b/c you want to be happy. We all deserve to be happy. Hang in there Fuzzy!! You stick around, and it is an inspiration to some of us.

I know this feeling well. I think part of the perception with manipulation has to do with our inability to ask for what we need. I know for me, I tend to try and manipulate situations in which I am not getting what I need. By manipulating the situation, I can get what I need without having to ask for it so it makes it so I don't have to deal with being rejected by asking for something.

I was doing better with the triggers, and in general, until last year when I was slammed with some new and scary medical stuff (sorry I'm vague, I don't want to go into it). Part of this is ridiculous allergies to so many things I love..... I had these allergies before but not like this.. They were improving or so I thought. and I'm right back at the bottom again with the triggers.....

Fuzzy, I'm sorry you are having trouble with triggers. You know where I am if you need to talk.

Fuzzy, just know I love you lots. We do seem manipulative. And sometimes we really are, but we don't really mean to be do we? take care my friend.
