I think this is going to be a great experience. He has me in CBT and has already helped me to understand my self identity issues just in 3 sessions :-) I now know why I attach myself to other people, why I am so confused about who I am, why I drink to numb and what i'm numbing from.

He told me something today that really resonated with me.. He said "somewhere along the way as a child your identity was stolen from you".. You have a lack of identity and need to be anybody or anything else rather than who you are because you feel like it's not ok to be you"...
This made so much sense to me and I feel so good about today's session.
Thanks for this!
