I made it through Christmas and didn't cry or go into a rage. I think that is a first in at least 20 years. I almost lost it on Robbie as he started to act up just before bedtime. He is now down, Sean is at work and I am headed to bed and read my new book.

Hope that others made it through the day okay as well.

Awesome! Whew ~ holidays can be tough indeed.

I'm not out in the clear until this night is over ~ as my girls tend to have intense nightmares after long, emotional days like these. I'm crossing my fingers that the night goes well for them (and me).

Congrats!!!

I made it thru mine without crying or at least feeling like I wanted to crawl away and tell everyone where to go.. (leading up to Christmas I was having intense feelings of anger toward my family and huge amounts of anxiety over presents..) But all went well! Yay!!

Congratulations!

I wasn't quite that lucky because I got into an argument with my family, but at least for once I stood up to my abuser. Only wish I hadn't spent the night crying afterwards...

Grats! Glad you got through... without a blowout.

I am just glad it's over. Not because it was such a fiasco but such an underwhelming holiday this year - NO hate toward Christmas mind you, just one that situationally ended up being quite less than what one would want. But it wasn't a bad one

I did too! So many things hitherto had me so anxious, but everything went smoothly. I was elated.
